Planning a party? Here are some of the questions we're most often asked about our bouncy castle, soft play and inflatable hire.

Can I hire a bouncy castle for an indoor hall or venue?
Yes! Many of our bouncy castles and inflatables are perfect for indoor parties and hall bookings.
When used indoors, appropriate equipment such as sandbags can be used to secure the inflatable safely.

Before booking, please check the height, width and length of your venue carefully. Remember to allow for low-hanging lights, beams and other obstructions.

It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the inflatable will fit inside the chosen venue. If we arrive and the inflatable cannot be safely set up because there isn't enough space or ceiling height, the hire charge may still be payable.
Please tell us when booking that your party is indoors so we can bring the correct equipment.
Please note: there is a £100 minimum spend for hall bookings.

How long do I get the bouncy castle for?

For standard all-day garden hires, we normally deliver between 7am and 12pm and collect between 4pm and 7pm.

If you're having your party in a hall or venue, shorter hire periods can be arranged to suit your venue booking times.
We always try to be as flexible as possible.

Overnight hire may also be available for an additional charge.

Are you insured?
Yes.
Solihull Inflatables carries £2 million Public Liability Insurance.
Safety is extremely important to us, and our applicable inflatables are appropriately inspected and safety tested.

Can you set up a bouncy castle outside?

Yes, but all outdoor inflatables must be set up on real grass so they can be safely and correctly secured.

We do not set up outdoor inflatables on artificial grass, concrete, tarmac, paving or other hard surfaces.
Hard-surface setups are for suitable indoor venues only.

What happens if it's windy?

Safety always comes first.
Outdoor inflatables must not be operated when wind speeds or gusts exceed 24 mph (38 km/h), or where the manufacturer's specified maximum wind speed is lower.

When conditions are windy but remain within safe operating limits, we may use additional or heavy-duty anchorage stakes where appropriate.
Even when wind speeds are below the maximum limit, we reserve the right not to set up an inflatable if we believe the conditions are unsafe.

What happens if it rains?

Most of our standard bouncy castles have rain covers.
Light rain doesn't necessarily mean your party has to be cancelled, but weather and ground conditions must remain safe.
If severe weather or high winds make it unsafe to operate an inflatable, safety will always take priority.
Please contact us if you're concerned about the weather forecast before your booking.

Do your bouncy castles have rain covers?

Most of our standard bouncy castles have rain covers.
If having a rain cover is particularly important for your booking, please check the individual product information or ask us before booking.

Can I hire a bouncy castle overnight?

Yes, overnight hire may be available for an additional £30, subject to availability.
The inflatable must be in a suitable and secure location, and overnight hire will also depend on the expected weather conditions.
Please ask us when booking if you would like to keep your inflatable overnight.

How long does setup take?

A standard bouncy castle normally takes approximately 25 minutes to set up.
Larger inflatables or bookings containing several pieces of equipment may take longer.

Hall customers should therefore make sure they allow enough time at the beginning and end of their venue booking for us to safely set up and dismantle the equipment.
If you're unsure how much time to allow, please ask us before booking.

Do you charge by the hour?

No. Our standard garden hires are not charged by the hour.
For hall and venue bookings, however, we can arrange delivery and collection around your party times.
Please contact us if you have particular venue times and we'll let you know what's possible.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel your booking, but deposits are non-refundable.

Other payments and cancellations will be dealt with in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and any applicable consumer rights.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking.

Can I move my booking to another date?

If your plans change, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where possible and subject to availability, we may be able to move your booking to an alternative date in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

Do you provide soft play for toddlers?

Yes!
We have a range of soft play, ball pools and toddler party packages, making them a great choice for first birthdays, toddler parties, christenings, weddings and indoor celebrations.
Soft play can also be combined with selected bouncy castles to create a fantastic party package.

What should I check before booking a hall?
Before booking your inflatable, we recommend checking:
The hall's available floor space
Ceiling height
Low-hanging lights or beams
Your access and party times
Whether the venue allows inflatables
That you have allowed enough time for setup and collection

If you tell us the name of your hall, we may be able to help you choose an inflatable suitable for the space.

Can adults use the bouncy castles?

Only inflatables specifically designed and approved for adult use can be used by adults.
Please check the individual product information before booking or contact us if you're looking for an inflatable suitable for adults as well as children.
